Description
A signature cake built around the flavours of the old chocolate, wafer and nut sweet that everyone from the region knows by name. Mike takes the combination people remember from a paper wrapper and rebuilds it at cake scale: chocolate, a wafer crunch running through the layers, and roasted nuts.
What it tastes like
Chocolate first, then the crunch. The wafer keeps the texture from turning into one soft note, and the nuts carry it. It is a nostalgia cake in the proper sense, which is to say it tastes like the thing you remember rather than merely referring to it, and it goes down particularly well with anyone who grew up in Russia, Ukraine or the Baltics.

The cake is 18 cm. Add candles, a topper or a chocolate message for a birthday at checkout. At least 48 hours notice, baked to your date in Belgravia and delivered across London and Surrey.
