Nostalgia

The Soviet bakery counter, rebuilt in Belgravia and delivered across London and Surrey. Everything in this section is something a lot of people have not eaten since childhood and cannot find anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Oreshki, the walnut shaped shortbread shells filled with boiled condensed milk, pressed in the same cast iron mould everybody's family owned, and a Ferrero style version with chocolate hazelnut cream for the children. Trubochki, the crisp cream filled pastry horns that a generation knew by their price. Sochniki, folded shortcrust with sweet tvorog showing along the edge. Kartoshka, the no bake potato cakes rolled in cocoa. Choux rings with cottage cheese cream. Goose feet cookies, gusinye lapki, folded in threes and dipped in sugar. Peanut rings, kurabye with their thumbprint of jam, syrniki for breakfast and blini by the ten.

None of this is fashionable and none of it is trying to be. It is simply made properly, by hand, by somebody who grew up eating it.

At least 48 hours notice on everything. Delivered across London and Surrey, from Chelsea and Kensington to Kingston, Esher and Weybridge.
