A naturally leavened sourdough loaf with a chewy, blistered crust and an open, airy crumb. Long fermentation, no commercial yeast, and nothing in it beyond flour, water and salt.
Time is the only ingredient that matters here. A slow fermentation develops the sour note, opens up the crumb and makes the bread easier to digest than a fast risen loaf. It also means the bread keeps for days rather than hours.
If you want sourdough regularly rather than occasionally, the weekly bread round delivers to Virginia Water, Weybridge, Egham and Ascot every Wednesday, which works out cheaper and saves you reordering.
At least 48 hours notice. Baked in Belgravia and delivered across London and Surrey.

Important: everything is made in a kitchen that also handles cereals containing gluten, milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soya and sesame. We cannot guarantee any item is free from traces.
